WELCOME TO THE ART OF ROMAIL !
INTRODUCING
I have been playing Tabla since I was very young. Then I became a
disciple of the late Ustad Saleem Ejaz learned vocals (singing ghazals)
I started learning Tabla again from Ustad Jari Khan, Ustad Tari khan's
younger brother, also taking lessons from Ustad Tari khan sab. Then
moved to Islamabad where I started learning classical music from Ustad
Fateh Ali Khan, and became a disciple of one of Ustad's students called
Ustad Mahmood Shah (I'll miss him the rest of my life) I started Pakistani
TV as a musician, as well as with Tv Asia. I moved to the US where i joined
a group called Drummers for Jesus.Since then I have performed in
Chicago with Aradhna, Green Bay at Power Fest , Miller Park Milwaukee,
Beloit College, Oshkosh Wl, Whitewater Wl, Applton Wl, St Louis ,
Waukesha Wl . Oklahoma, Indiana .
Musicians I admire are Ustad Tari khan , Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Ji
Fateh Ali Khan, Janab Mehdi Hassan , Janab Gulam Ali, Janab Surinder Mann ,
Javaid Robinson many more....
